sand diggers pace

This may sound like a foolish question,but here goes. For the people that are sand diggers it's a fore drawn conclusion that you have to go slow to pick up those good signals BUT we also know that sanders have to cover territory so how do you go slo and cover territory at the same time? This is not meant to be a trick question ,I know you experienced guys are doing it , do you adjust the swing or the settings or both. remember I'm new. thanks

In most cases this is where a bigger coil will cover more plus you can go faster on sand as there is not as many signals as you get on dry land. The more signals the more you have to go slow for the Sovereign to see them all. I tried the sand with my Explorer out in NJ and couldn't believe how fast I could swing the coil and get depth like I cant here in ND on dirt.
I think you will see this too one the beach you will be able to swing the coil must faster then on land.

Get a Bigger coil....... It's better to work a small area thoroughlly than to cover lots of ground fast. Sometimes i go a little faster (still slow) until i start finding a few targets than i work that area real slow, the treasure will be in with the trash...

It's true, Faster in all metal. The Sov has to to do more processing in disc mode & therefore a slower sweep is reqd, Not too fast though........
