Sat road trip finds, silver

Mark in S.E. IA

New member
Sat I was in a area that has been picked over pretty. I only found coins in 2 different places, all the other places I stopped at were picked pretty clean. I also found 2 clad half dollars. I'm lucky if I find one a year and I've already found 5 so far this year.

Looks like a good day Mark!

That '41 S Merc is worth a bit more than the average dime. Not going to make you rich, but the S minted dimes only made up about 15% of '41 total dime mintage.

Thanks guy.....

Monday I hit a old town square park right across the street from a court house. It took me over a half hour to find a spot to GB because of all the iron and trash hits. In one swing you could not believe how many hits I got, it was crazy all the iron hits I got. I had to keep my swing speed down to 5 sec and slower.
I was there for about four hours and found a Merc, IH and 4 wheat's. It was one of those day's that I didn't care if I found anything or not, it just wanted to be out MDing. I know one thing, if I ever buy the "Digger coil" that's going to be one of the places I test it.
