Saturday morning brought a nice day to go TH here on Maui.... so off i went into the briney!Worked a beach or 2 in and out of the water. found a few caps and trash.... then went to a local area where the surf schools teach people to ride the waves. High tide and no one out there.So out i went and snorkel on my face.. detector in hand.. wieght belt on my hips..
and sunscreen all over me. After about an hour and a half.. flopping around , several hundred yards from shore.... a beep that was not a HOT rock.. or a piece of trash. Fanning away the sand.. a circle of gold smiled from the mirk.
Down i went again and plucked the little gem from the sea. Turned out to be a nice 14K White gold band. Wieght 10.3 Gr. Yippy! Water got rough just about then as the wind began to blow hard. Sunday i got pounded by the waves and got a few items from the dry. Heres a break down of my weekends haul.
88 Beer caps,3 pull tabs,2 screw lids,1 wierd earing hoop,1 paper clip,1 candle,1 Spent ammo shell casing,2 saftey pins,1 coral covered piece of iron,
