Saturday's Hunt with the XT-70

Saturday I went out for a morning hunt, within the first few minutes I found a clad 1974 penney, I thought this would be a good day hunting. There was a lot of iron trash and bullets in the area I worked the area over fairly fast since it was a very big area that I have hunted only a couple of times before. About an hour of hunting went buy and I got a good strong signal of 28, so I decided to investigate what it was, and I found this very nice Nevada Trade Token that has "BETTY O'NEAL one one side of it and GOOD FOR 12 1/2

Man, I really love the old trade tokens. I'd take tokens over coins any day. GREAT FIND!

I like the trade tokens a lot better than the coins also, but they are a lot harder to find and a lot less of them out there than the coins.

Bill,

Very nice old tokens
I'd be very happy too if I came up with them....well done

I like anything with words or numbers on it! But I agree, tokens are great finds. Especially those that are from a private "local" business opposed to the aluminum Colgate Palmolive stuff. And those with incremental values (such as your 12 1/2 cent) that are not common are extra nice! Good find! HH Randy
