saturdays hunt.

got out for about two hours saturday. the corp of engineers drawdown the lake every year, this year they are drawing it down 3 feet.

did not get any gold or silver!!! i did get a toe ring , cheap bubblegum machine ring, earring stud, some clad and a bunch of trash!!!

Congrats on what you did find and better luck with God's blessings next time! Drained lakes are very good to hunt when drained all the way down and have time to dry up the gunk! Many from the club have found some nice, old silver and etc from drained lakes around North St. Louis County! One was drained in South County and I found some silver including a black silver half-dollar and my ex found a Timex Watch without the band which had rotted away, but he cleaned it off and wound it and it took a licking but kept on ticking! Nice pictures. I like walking the drained lakes for baits.
 
Yeah ... Me Too! I've always wanted to detect a drained lake. They don't drain many here in the northern part of the country but many are lowered in the southern states.
