Saw my dr, yesterday, and he said I look good and am doing okay....

When he passed me while I was being weighed, he said, she sure is looking good, isn't she and they all said yes! Made me feel better on top of feeling good! We did get a little rain during the night but didn't rain all day until I was returning from refilling my meds and doing my monthly misc and grocery shopping! Rained a little but not much!!! Very tired from shopping though and need to recooperate today! While I was in the Dr's waiting room, a person I've known most of my life came in and we talked a while before I was called in to see the dr. She and I had the same Aunt....she is a first cousin to our cousin Virginia on her dad's side by marrying mom's sister, which makes me Virginia's first cousin also! And then while I was shopping in the Cereal aisle, I hear someone and look up and there was my son and daughter-in-law....was really good to see them and we had a nice visit for a short while! He had been having SUV problems and traded his in for another one with no payments to make! The repair shop could not get something apart to fix a seal and, therefore, the auto dealer took the SUV back as a trade in! He has had storm damages from the hailstorm we had a few months back and is having a new roof put on with some guttering replaced! I have to get State Farm out here to check my cracked pic window and my roof, although my roof isn't very old but still could have some damage! Also, need a large dying Spruce taken down and there was a tree service truck down the street from me, so I talked to them before I left for the dr's visit and have their card! I remembered that I had them back in the late 80's or early 90's to dead wood my Pin Oak Trees that eventually died and had them cut down with stumps removed! Oh, the problems of older homes! But very glad I have a home! Another chapter in Ma's life! Praise God for His mercy and His grace or I wouldn't still be living here since 1974! Amen! Ma Betty

Bless you, too, Hank and hope your feet are feeling better...my feet always hurt while shopping and then I am sore and stiff for a couple of days afterwards...ole Arthur tends to act up too much! :sad: May your detecting days be blessed with many nice finds! Amen! Ma Betty

P.S. I remember my grandpa soaking his feet in warm Epson Salts water to relief the aching and soreness...ya might try it if you haven't done so and there are foot bath with massages that a person can purchase but haven't for myself....gotta watch the money before it all disappears and that isn't easy! for I would itch to death or think so anyway....I have good ole flannel pjs and lots of cover in the cold winter time and, yes, it will be here before we know it! 61 degrees right now and had a very windy day and I mean lots of wind, as trees were doing more than the hula dance!
