Spooky to say the least. The man scares me anyhow. We must use care not to read to much into these things, for fear that we may try to guess the time of the Lords return. It may also side track us from the work at hand.
That being said, from my point of view things have never looked worse. We should all be spreading the Good News as if it is the end of days whether it is or not.
My opinion is that this country is in for some seriously hard times. The likes of which have not been seen for many generations. We may still be many years out though, but I think we will see them in my lifetime.

Both passages give Satan, Lucifer, the Dragon the name SATAN. I guess God DOES know what he is talking about after all. If God gave his name specifically in the passages what need is there to look any further? THE anti-Christ isn't revealed until in the tribulation. He will speak with great swelling words to deceive his hearers. He will be the greatest orator that generation will have ever heard. Jesus spoke in words that the common man could understand but many times he spoke in parables that "hearing they did not hear". Our President is a very good speaker but he isn't in the same league with that man. Is our President a type of anti-Christ? Yes, of course but so was Hitler, Stalin etc.
I agree with TURNMASTER that as we see the days growing more evil we need to give out the gospel more. I also agree with Joe G but not the same phraseology, the definitions haven't been stretched but that a text taken out of context is a pretext. I'm sure that that is close to what he meant.

In my opinion in the end the antichrist will be a combination of a system and a man as is spoken of above. However that does not change our course of actions one little bit, not one iota! As Christians who or what it is matters naught. Our course of action is to arm ourselves however God leads YOU individually as a Christian Soldier.
