Hit three totters again at sun-up, out of all three I had found a dollar.:ranting: All the sports fields started getting packed by 8:30, so I decided to go and work some out of the way school parking lot edges where they push the snow, and get them cleaned up a little. Quickly freestyled some entrances etc. Got a solid Q signal and raked this 925 ring out of the gravel. Its from Thailand, has a big onyx stone in it, and really pretty. The Wife says it will match a bracelet she has, so I lost another find!
I got quite a lot of clad, just focusing on Q and D signals really, 60 cents worth of empties. Took the dirty clad from yesterday and today and ran it through the coinstar for an even 17 bucks, had enough clean clad to buy one 24oz beer, gassed up the Sube and got a pack of smokes...gonna take a nap and regroup for an afternoon gold hunt I think..totters have been a bust for 3 weeks straight now... .Hope everyone is out and finding!:beers:

Nice silver ring and once again, a good batch of clad. I have two close wood chip lots and a volley ball court that I hit early Sun mornings before church. If I have taken $5.00 in total out of them combined since school started I think that I would be stretching the amount. And I see no signs of them being hunted. And they never were in years past. Hope you hit gold this p m. HH jim tn

Thanks guys, no gold this afternoon, a few more dollars clad and a few more cans...I did a battery change as I was walking from a soccer field to a totlot...Popped out the plug, popped off the top, and in one fluid motion popped out the batteries into a trash can, pulled new batteries out of my pouch, they felt like rifle cartridges to my fingers as I loaded up the 70 still steadily walking, not even looking at the machine! Its all muscle memory now me and this F70...it reminded me of that scene from Pale Rider when Clint was walking up the street with his eyes on that old bad guy as he changed out the cylinder in that 1858 .44cal New Army without missing a step or taking his eyes off the bad guy!..
Another thing was the yellow jackets! They were everywhere especially in the trash cans feasting on the empty pop cans, so tomorrow am early when they are dormant, I will probably get all sorts of cans the can guys could not get safely this afternoon! I set a goal to get 20 bucks in clad and cans tomorrow by 11am. I'm gonna slam those sportfields that were packed today like the Tasmanian Devil! it will be speed sweeping for freshies, smoke jumping from field to field, blazing down the sidelines like a human metronome set on high tempo! Fun and fast work!
It was very warm today, overcast, the last warm weather for a while...it will be 20 degrees colder tomorrow. I should have been in the water, but I needed a break from that and sure love hunting clad with this F70!
