Scorpion Gold Stinger Tuning

I'm just wondering if anyone could make a you tube video on tuning the Scorpion Gold Stinger? I recently purchased one used and it seems to be very chatty and noisy. Disc. seems to not work either, but I could be doing it wrong. I tried checking out the Garrett videos, on you tube, and the way it sounds on the vid is not what mine sounds like. Thanks in advance

If you got a owners manual with it, it will get you on the way, Mr Garrett says in most of his manuals, you need to put in 100 hours to learn a detector, many of us have found this to be fact :garrett:

Try this....crank back counter clockwise the audio 10 turn button about 4-6 revolutions. That should make your machine run much more stable. That knob acts more like a sensitivity control, which allows one to really super tune the Scorpion for very tiny nuggets in the field. When coin hunting, especially in the city, you HAVE to gear down on that knob, as there is just too much electrical interference and tiny bits of trash in the ground to run the Scorpion. Good luck! Once you figure out that machine, it is a real killer. :)
