This was my grandsons first hunt. The first picture is the kids getting instructions from the huntmaster. He had a little trouble in the beginning but, by the end of the hunt he was doing pretty good.
 
I think you're right. He will be seven this friday, when we got back he asked me if I'd buy him a detector for his birthday.

Make sure you get buy him a good detector. Now that he's used a good
one, he'll know the difference.:lol:

This is a good way to keep him out of trouble too. When you go out you can
start taking him with you more often and away from later teenage mischife.

As it is right now, I don't get away too much without him. He likes to go with me everywhere, since him and his mother live with us, he is a pretty good little buddy.
 
Thats great! We grand pa's can do no wrong. My grand son is now in his teens
and has other interests. I can see I"m gradually being sat on the back burner.
The kids grow up to fast dang it.:lol:
