Scouting and Hunting with Marty 2-08

Hi All,
Had a chance to do a little scouting down in Sarasota today with Marty another Safari guy. Marty didn't bring his machine due to some physical therapy concerns from his Dr. Told him to talk a couple of weeks off.
We met up with a couple of Sheriffs that I know from my MD club. We had a nice lunch and they told us of an area that use to host the circus. We hit it for about and hour or so just to hear her sing a little. Found about $3.20 in clad and a cool hot wheels car. Very little trash, mainly beaver tails. However, Marty wanted to swing it a little so he proceeded to smoke me with a bicentennial Kennedy half. A very iffy 37-38-39, Marty worked the coil till it repeated in a couple of directions. Showing deep. Turned out to be about 6-7 inches at an angle. Nicely done Marty!!!

Thanks very much Bunker-- it was an awesome day-- lunch was great- the guys I met were great and the hunt was great. I'll hit that lot with my 15 X 12 Excellerator soon and see how she work. Betcha there's a bunch more there. My first half dollar.........wow!

Bunky, Marty...Nice hunt and even better to get together and build new friendships. I remember when visiting the in-laws condo in Venice, we'd drive up to see where the circus used to "camp" during the winter months.
