SE Coils ?????????

I have a Explorer SE and the 10in slimline coil, I also have the Excelerator 4.5x7 dd coil, I would like to add another coil would it be worth getting the pro coil or would I be better off getting a SEF, Larger than the pro coil since I have the slimline and it is close to the size if the pro coil? Thanks, And one more question if you could only have one coil for your SE which would it be and why?

The pro or SE are better than your standard hands down. I cant say that if you have the old II coil, it was a darn good coil. Im not sure id jump up to a 15 inch coil unless i had a lot of open area to cover. Otherwise you have more to swing and i dont know that in tight trashy areas you will gain anything. Also, i dont think anyone that has both the Pro and SEF coil can clearly say one is better than the other. The pro is lighter and maybe.... i say maybe more sensitive to tiny items.... but is the $60 cost worth it. The larger you go in coil size the less sensitive it will be to tiny targets as well ..... and at some point, i believe above 15 inches there just isnt any advantage.

The 11" pro coil is the one I would choose. Better balance, more coverage and less weight. The wot (great coil) to (heavy) for me to swing all day. The standard SE 10" coil was just a POC as far as I was concerned. Had (2) of them and now a (3rd) one and they all sit in the closet. Have never tried the SEF 10x12 so cannot comment on it. A lot of people swear by the SEF coil. But I dig deep enough with the PRO coil. Just my take on the coils.

Like has been said - it depends on where you are hunting. I hunt a lot of thick woods and difficult fields, so I prefer the Joey coil. But I keep my Pro coil close by for sure.
