Se setting

I see, (I think) that most of you use all metal with the se.
Is that correct??, and why please??? IS it lax in discrimination settings?? Thank you in advance for your posts. I appreciate it.

Well i stared out with the factory settings , then used the disc, modes , got a lot of nulling , ( down time on the machine ) i went to all metal , was hard to get used to all the chatter , but after awhile i grew to know what tones i was looking for , the tones seem to be all the discrimination you need , i use smartfind window and when its high right and high tone , its a good target , , i find that a high tone ,lower right is allways junk, so you can disc, that way with the cursor , and i check the numbers a little to if in doubt, if it stays 00-29, 28 its a good target , i use all metal , ferrous tones , sens manual 20 to 24 , gain at 10 , not that im an expert by any means , but i do ok . good hunting. these are my 2 best finds in all metal withe se , civil war button and silver name badge ,
