So i had to try the SE,I like my excal 2 so i figure why not,I really hope this is the detector for me..I have to say RICHARD at Backwoods detectors is a really good guy..

Great choice...and you will have a blast with the machine. Just make sure you take your time and don't try too much too fast. It's very easy to get frustrated...so just take it slow.

Get the probe - These are great!

Happy Hunting, take it slow, read the manual and get a copy of Andy's book.

Will it go deep????and how is it on gold???

HOW does the prob work is it worth it???
Will it save me time, and or they better than the ones you carry with you..../????

i'll go out on a limb here...most of us will swear by it! (i also carry a Bullseye pinpointer in my pouch)

Its a very well made probe and you cant put it down and loose it. Also NO feed back like handhelds. The depth on it is about 3 inches. It is a little more expensive but worth every penny.
