Sea Hunter falsing fix

pistolpete

New member
Am wondering if anyone has tried this trick to stop their Mark 2 from falsing when the control bow is splashed by waves. I have heard that this is a fix for the Tiger Shark guys. They are using silicon or plummers tape to completely cover the coil connection at the box. Apparently this is where the problem is for the Tes machines. The tape molds to itself when wrapped over the connector and waterproofs it. Anyone on this forum try it?

I've never tried that, but it's worth a shot.:wiggle:I'm gonna try it out on my MKII and also Infinium as well. The Sea Hunter is usually more stable than the LS. That is, when it is in discreet mode. However it all depends upon the ground conditions of the beach/area that you are searching.

Thanks for the tip!:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

You might try Rescue Tape too (http://www.rescuetape.com/). It's amazing stuff, yet easy to remove when necessary. Ace Hardware stores carry it too.
