i just received this detector and have a question on the threshold sound it does not seem as stable in the standard mode as in the discrete mode is this the nature of a pi detector thanks in advance

Takes a little getting used too.......I allmost always run mine in the discrete mode......very very good machine.......Jim

thanks for the comeback jim i was concerned with the differance in the threshold sounds in standard mode

I always used mine in standard mode when I had one as to get max depth. Great machine. I wish I never sold mine. Threshold is fine just a little diff in each mode.

Yeah man, run it in discrete mode so the threshold is more stable, then turn it to standard mode to pinpoint your target:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)
