Sea Hunter

I got my new Sea Hunter yesterday and i took it to Virginia Beach and had a blast with it. I was really impressed on how deep this detector can detect. As far as I can tell it has very little discrimination but i tend to dig everyhing anyway.I hunted the wet sand and water about knee deep .At first it was very hard to pinpoint with the waves knocking you around but i got better as the day went on. Most of the targets were about 6-10 inches deep and a few deeper..

Nice hunt! I haven't been able to take mine for a splash in the surf for a couple of years...but you're right. The Sea Hunter does go deep. Mine is also deadly on bobby pins.:heh: Good luck with it and HH. Sapper.

A further tip I forgot to mention....when the threshold blanks, it could be a deep target, or it could be a shallow chain or small bracelet. All the best. Sapper.

thats a great pile for your first trip out, i would be very happy with that... good job.

Very nice hunt  I too had the Sea Hunter, and you are so right in that it goes DEEP! I tend to dig it all also, a lot of work, but I have the gold as a reward for all that work. Keep at it....I put my money on you, that you do very well.
