Seahunter pulse width

pistolpete

New member
Does anyone know the pulse width of this machine? Would it go as low as 10uS? Thanx

The XL500 runs at 110pps. Nice and low for depth. Check these mods out, way cool!:wiggle:

I should have said the newer seahunter mark 2. I really want to know how good it is on small earing size gold. Great article. Thanx

The Infinium runs at 730pps with the 32 multifrequency API technology. Copes with heavy mineralization the best.

Just wait, when you get older, if and when you run, it's pains per second!:drinking:
Remember that interview with a delightful 120 year old French lady on the news? She was asked what was her secret to her longevity, here was her answer:
"What ever you do, no matter how much it hurts...keep moving!":wiggle:

I don't know. I tried in vain to get that info from Garrett on the Seahunter and the Infinium and wondered why they didn't put an adjustable one on either like another PI detector or two out there has. Makes a big difference as different metals respond better to different pulse rates.

Also I've been trying to get Garrett to come out with an ajustable multi-frequency machine like the new White Vision.

The uS of the sea hunter at its lowest is around 15-17 uS. Its made for beach detecting so it doesnt have to be as low as the Infinium which is at 10 uS at 0 disc and at 3 disc is around 24 uS. Which is more sensitive because it is made for prospecting. I Was using it in a gold mine today checking out ore in the walls along the Scott river....fun fun.
