Search Coil?

[COPPER DIME]

looking at getting a small search coil 4 my explorer se.looking at the 4.5x7 excelerator. $195. or 5" excelerator $99.
my question,is the 4.5x7 worth the extra $$$$$$$$$? thanks good luck 2 all.

I have a sunray X5 small coil and that is all I use on the SE , will get a 7 to 8" dime and works very good in the trash. And they are about $190 with coil cover.

thanks 4 the fast response. i think i'll stick with my stock coil 4 now. when i get a little more $$$$$$$ i'll nvest n a nother coil. thanks 4 the nput. good luck 2 all!!

hey,c.d. i have the 4.5x7 and love it.my first deep find was an old roll-up top(with the key)sardine can at 13 inches and it was in the ground at about 45 degree angle.hard ground at that.i was hoping for a cs belt buckle.you know how i felt when i saw that can.but great coil anyway.good luck with whatever you buy. and this forum.

I have an excelerator 6" coil that I think is one of the best coils to have for an explorer.
