Isn't it amazing how many coins there are in a small area.

Totals this time not as good but still had fun. The lawn looks like swiss cheese this time of year.
9 More Wheaties, 1956 Dog tag, 2 more Mercs and a small plate.

About a year ago I found the Goblet pictured here.

I wish we had old finds like that around here. Jeff

Hope you are as well ...
Been out doing some Xmas shopping today ... man I hate the crowds, even in this small hillbilly town.
Still have a little bit to do.
Last Monday I went thru my finds, let the wife & daughter pick thru the jewely one last time. All said and done, including the clad, I ended up with $1824 total worth. That sure makes me feel better about digging those foil and tabs signals :detecting:
I decided on Jan. 1, 2006 to dig all of them but didn't, you know how that goes, probably left a few good ones in the ground still.
Granted there's still some big silver I didn't even think about selling off, but I like looking at it.
Hope you & yours have a Merry Christmas

Mike

I've been off work most of the year and have burned up some miles and dig time.
Nothing better to do than drive around scoping out new hunt sites and researching property owners.
Already have 103 hours actual hunt time on my SE and it's only 6 weeks old.
Hunted in 23 different states this year, would get a Motel, camp out, sleep in the truck or stay with friends .. whatever the situation called for.
Yes Sir ... I've dug some holes this year :)

Good Hunting
Mike

I really like that Goblet and Plate. It's finds like that that make this hobby extra fun. You just never know what you are going to dig next. Great Finds There. 2 Silver and 9 Wheats is a good hunt in my book for the time of the year. Good Luck and HH on your next outing!
