Secret Santa Gift (Thanks Kenny!) Merry Christmas to all.

I worked until 8pm at the bar. Great tip day as Christmas Eve always is. As usual as last call approached I was asked to stay for one more drink. As also always happens, somebody would come in and ask if I was open so my 6 pm quit was delayed two hours. I did not mind. I had a big glass of whiskey and a good book planned and then an early bedtime so I can get a a 6 am start upstate in the morning. My neighbors have other plans for me it seems. They are fighting and screaming and door slamming worse than normal just like they were when I left for work this morning. I wish we could discuss these things face to face but they are trash and beyond that. I am minutes away from returning fire with my home theatre. I realize it's Christmas Eve. I keep thinking of Silent Night.

I digress. I finally opened my gift from khouse. It was wrapped just as I wrap many of my gifts as shown in pic 1. Another digression. I am wrapping my gifts this year in Hanukkah paper this year because last year the Ben Franklin had two rolls of it for 50 cents. I kid you not. Ask Rosco if you don't believe me. I am not Jewish but I am extremely thrifty! Back to the gift which is a digging kit including: treasure pouch, 8 batteries for 2500 (I needed these as I used my spares in smoke detector and TV/DVD remotes!), a pad of hunting logs, a plastic shovel, and an A.M. Leonard digging tool. I have a Lesche and am pleased to add this one to my arsenal. Many folks on this forum have spoken very highly of both. It means a lot to me because it comes from a great treasure hunter and all around good guy and I will use it often. Many thanks Kenny. The only thing missing was a coin you had dug from your county or home town that I could put in my brag book as a memento. I guess you didn't read my post hinting to include one. Maybe next year.

Merry Christmas to you all. My wish for all of you, and for me tonight, is peace.

Chris

Sorry about the coin. I didn't know. That knife has a lifetime warranty from AM Leonard. If it breaks call them. They will send you a new one and you simply send yours in.
