For the last several years here at the CMD forum we have done a secret Santa gift exchange.
How it is done:
1. You reply here that you want to take part and I will put your name on the list.
2. You also send me your mailing address so I can give it to your secret Santa. (I have most of the addys)
3. I take all the names that want to take part and put them in a hat.
4. I then have one of the kids draw the names to see who gets a gift for who.
5. I then send you the name and address of who you have drawn. (This does not mean that person also got you)
6. You then get a gift for that person. (usually $10 limit is a good rule of thumb.)
7. Then you mail it out about 2 weeks before Christmas.
8. Then wait till Christmas to open yours.
9. Be sure to post that it got there and a thank you!
Here at the CMD forum we have something special! We have made some life long friendships that go beyond the average forum. We are a family in Christ.
This is just one more little thing we can do to add to the fun we have each year. Please only reply to the post if you want to take part, and if you fully intend on also sending a gift to the person you draw. And to make it fair for all who take part please don't send requests of who you wish to send a gift to. If you have any questions let me know. You can also send your reply via private message if you want.
