I have been keeping my eye on a residential lot that is being prepped for a new house. The old garage and house have been torn down, leaving just a couple of large trees and some dead, dried up grass. Yesterday I saw a man and a woman in the lot doing some measuring. So I stopped and talked with them. They were the owners of the lot and said it was OK if I searched the lot with my detector. My CZ3d was in need of some exercise and the small coil was already on it so that was what I used. Rescued a '48 silver Washington quarter at 4" and a couple of wheats at about the same depth, a '45 and a '35. The rest was modern clad and trash.
