See Ground notch be ing used in programs.

The ground notch is a must for me. The first time I took the machine out I noticed that it would sound off and false on any slight bump of the ground, stumps, twigs, branches or whatever. The ground notch feature just keeps it from falsing. It doesn't notch out signals in the specified range, just the changes in the ground, sweep angle & coil bumps. Not sure exactly how it works differently than regular notching, but it works for sure and keeps the machine quiet. I keep it on 84+.

This is a great video. I discovered it some time ago and have watched it several times as a refresher. I only wish there were more "how to videos" than "here is what i found" videos.
