Seeking Settings... SOS from Bryce?

Hey All,

New to this forum... Have an Explorer SE that I really have had a lot of good outings with... Been detecting for over 10 years off and on... Not so much over the past 4 years, but got bit by the bug again late this season... Been reading some of the posts and am curious about some of the settings out there... Bryce has posted some impressive findings and clearly puts in the work... High marks BRYCE!

I realize that there isn't one magic setting sequence out there... and individualized, subjective settings play a role, but what has worked for you all and, if possible, could someone direct me to some of the setting sequences that I've read posters elude to.

Also, since I've been out of the game for a bit... Any new developments out of Minelab? Like I said, I own the EXPLORER SE... Bought it new the first year it came out... Incredible machine... Any opinions as to the new stuff, better, worse, just a good??? Thanks, V-man

The XS is a great machine. You are not handicapped using it. The SE is improved, faster and more stable in my opinion. depth is the same. The newer minelabs seem a little easier to use.
