SEF+20th century relics=fun

Beaut of a day here in S. Mich, just gorgeous outside. I decided to neglect the yardwork today and went out dirt fishin. Hunted a spot in a large soccer field where bleachers stood in the '50s. Nine wheaties and silver quarter. Hunted hard till noon including 2 150-yo farm yards. I believe too much dirt moved around, but scored another silver and doo-dads. Hope everyone made it outside!

Nice finds! That silver thimble is a beauty and looks like it may have some hallmarks. That tag is also neat - perhaps a baggage tag or possibly a watch fob? I wonder what "Leslie" signifies? Thanks for sharing your finds and HH.

Thanks Digger, I think the tag is a dog tag, the name is that of a local village here.
