i would buy one but the ergonomics of the unit aint good IMO ,so is there any likelyhood of a sef coil ??that would work ?not a fan of the aussie add on coils

Nothing that has been commercially released from Minelab, yet. I think as soon as they can build them to meet the expectations of their engineers, as well as the customer base, we'll see them. HH Randy

Why not? The CoilTek WOT round 15" MF coil for the X-Terra's is a very good coil in all aspects and WOT's are not too heavy. Also it has been given approval by Minelab.

NEL makes a large aftermarket X-Terra coil that is an SEF type coil. Is is not approved by Minelab, but it does have good reviews and people like it, it also is deep.

The Coiltek 15DD for X-terra is really great, but also want to see a big 18.75kHz coil for finding the small hammered coins...I know there is a NEL 12X13 at that freq, and people is happy with it,but under the circumstanses I dont wanna order one.
What if it break down my beloved terra,na...I wait or buy another MD..an E-trac maybe or a Explorer,or a XP Deus,or a Rutus Jupiter...
