this has been asked here a lot and ARA GOLD is most trusted here

I wonder if they would purchase a rock [quartz] containing gold/silver?

If the specimen has visual appeal try a rock shop or maybe Ebay. You have a good chance of selling over the melt value.

But just the ornate ones. I NEVER got double the price of scrap gold off any of them. Would like an item number of one you got that much for.

Mid West refineries would also be a respected place to send gold with a 95% payback for your yella stuff

Yes and with Midwest, you have NO idea when they lock in the price. Most think its the lowest price of the day.

They don't pay the same as ARA. ARA doesn't care how many oz or grams you send in. This other place does. Or am I missing something??

Not sure if you are asking me, but USGB had been paying 90%. (it was actually much higher with quantity.) I have not sent in gold since last summer and it may have changed.

AND as a lot of others on here will also tell you. I am sure a few of them have done the math. BUT your more than welcome to your opinion.
