Hi guys.
I spent two long months undetected. He had decided to leave on Sunday at any price. I got a call at the last minute, a friend offering a farm from the early twentieth century his family to detect, an hour and a half drive from my house. Football game, final Copa del Rey, dinner, gathering until dawn and all the beautiful farm for me and my ATpro.
I woke up suddenly and without breakfast went outside and started the search. The land - this is a mining area of iron - iron was very polluted, at least a sign of iron per pass. I had to discriminate 40. Stop for breakfast after an hour and go hunting.
A good assortment. Several bullets and rifle cartridges of civil war, a musket ball, a pair of currencies of the seventeenth century in very bad condition, remains of a toy revolver, my first pocket watch two stars ornaments roof and something else scrap.
The house is spectacular, like a small southern mansion. A large cedar copy of the escort on the side. The farm is divided into garden and orchard. Many large bedrooms and living rooms ceilings. the kitchen as big as my whole house .The ground basement with wine cellar and a blind of 1.20 meters where will try to come next time if my belly through the entrance hole lol.
The hunt ended at lunchtime, about 14.30 h. A shower, clean clothes and a great barbecue with big chops cow.

The homeowner was impressed by the efficiency of the detector and the findings, which gave him as he was more excited than me. In return I renewed the invitation to his home to continue detecting and obtaining permission for detection on the farm across the road, a tower of the fourteenth century, in the photo.
The photos are from another person and Google, my camera had no batteries.

HH Ed in co.

Very unusual finds!

I like that 'star' object...what are they? copper? How come that one is up near the roof? did they have some purpose up there by the gutter?

I am glad you got some dirt time in finally and put together this outstanding post!:clapping:
Mud

Thanks Ed Steinhof, I am also eager to return to the basement and the tower, although it will be in July ...
Mud, thank you, copper these stars are adornments channel rainwater from the roof, it had every 3 meters. The house has more unique ornaments, modernist style. Next time there'll have more and better pictures.
I'm dying to get back ... that Torreon -single tower- was the "customs" of the feudal lord of the valley. There a tax on people, animals and goods entering the Lordship was charged.

Man....you sure live in a beautiful country with access to some great finds. Thanks for showing us the areas you hunt.

Nice relic finds in that location.:clapping:

Thanks Joel and Thanks John! it is a triple pleasure, search, find, share...
Spain's history has its roots buried in these lands. Here began the reconquest in 711 against musullmanes peoples.
Don Pelayo was the first king of what would become the Kingdom of Castile and then Spain.
