When filling out your christmas cards this year,please take one card and send it
to this address: A Recovering American Soldier, c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 6900 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington DC 20307.

You can disagree with any war.
But NEVER EVER disagree with a Soldier for doin his job.

Here is the info that I got today concerning the same mailing program. :shrug:



The items sent to the soldiers at the above address will not get to them according to snopes.com. That program did not work out the way they had planned. However, if you go to snopes.com and search "Holiday mail for heroes" it tells you what went wrong and gives you the address for the Red Cross where you can mail cards by December 10th. I just didn't want anyones good efforts to be wasted.
