Seneca SC ... ?

Will be working in the Seneca SC area for a few weeks ... is there some good spots to hunt there?
Can you hunt in the public parks and school grounds?
On the map there seems to be some beach areas here and there on the lakes ... are they OK to hunt with a metal detector.
I also see there is a recreation area on south 4th street ... any issues hunting there?
I live on the Gulf Coast and normally hunt the salt water beaches.
Looking for coins and jewelry but would be happy to hunt for the older coins in abandoned home sites.

Unfortunately all the schools i have tried to access in the State have Fences and Locked Gates. Some of them have very large No Trespassing Signs. After hours if the gate is unlocked i take that as an invitation to detect.
