General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

I ordered a metal detector on June 22 and to this day it is still in the same state in the same city they claimed I didn’t pay for shipping so it could take 5 to 8 days. It’s already been 12 days buyer beware once again buyer beware I’ve seen multiple negative feedback and reviews about this company and it’s sad that I didn’t see it before I ordered the item

I've been buying detectors and gear from Serious Detecting for over 10 years. I have never had any issues whatsoever.

Did you pay for shipping? By my count from the information you provided it has been 8 days not 12.

Not in anyway minimizing your issue with them. Just another perspective.

Sorry about your problem. You should have gotten free shipping with your purchase. Strange! I buy from them often with no issues. I ordered the Wsa2 headphones from them a few weeks ago and they shipped for free in a timely manner, 3-5 days. Good luck hunting.
 
always been good for me too, it does take a while to ship somethings such as a detector and cost more and it can take a week to 10 days. most ads I see say plus shipping. From personal experience I am like others and time go slow when waiting for a new detector. and 2 days seem like a week..
A few years back now I ordered in one from a dealer down south and watching it on tracking it left the UPS and went back to the same place 2 days later then went out again and went back 4 days later, the out again and it took another week to get it, just wonder if they knew where North Dakota was .

I hope you see your detector soon as they normally are very good to do business with.
 
They own this now! Holding onto it for 5 days!! It’s a bust out scheme!

It's been quite a while but I have ordered from Serious a good number of times and have always had good results and good prices. This would seem to be a USPS problem , not a Serious one. I have noticed great geographic differences with USPS service with the NE corridor being much more problematic than any other area in the US.
 
I've had nothing but exemplary service from them.
Though I'm in the next state.
Usually I received my items with in 24 hours.
Never more than three days unless it was a backordered item.
I've also never had them send USPS.
Usually UPS.
Also I've never seen postage Not posted on the invoice free or otherwise.

As Sprchng mentioned.
This appears to be a shipper issue.

Have you contacted them personally ?
Maybe pay what they claim is lacking.

I usually use PayPal with any seller or dealer I'm unfamiliar with.
They have always corrected any problems.

Lately I have had friends telling of horror stories dealing with USPS lately.

You could go to your bank and have funds pulled back.
