I was stationed here at Fort Eustis, VA back in 2004....One day while metal dectecting....I was so frustrated by the lack of coins, that I threw a large handful of coins around that area. I figured that some day, maybe in 50 years, someone will find them...AND they'll be old.

Well, now 2011, I am deployed here again. I was detecting in that same area and started finding alot of pennies and said to myself..... Gee, there could be less pennies here... A few days later, telling a friend about this area....I remembered throwing them there in 2004....LOL

I was here in 1985 for training....even finding those lost coins wouldn't be helpful....

" set myself up for failure.... " LOL
