When on pasture fields that are not full of iron and junk ,give these settings a go, discrim 3-5, sens about 80-90 and tone 1+,you will be surprised at that little bit extra depth you will get,try running the coil about 3/4" above the grass and not lift at the end off the sweep,lengthen the stem so you can keep your coil away from your footwear, with a bit of practice you will be able to cover more ground with each sweep hence more chance of finding targets .either mastic coil cover to seal, and keep the grime out or take cover off and clean each trip.happy hunting
