How about sharing your favorite relic found with a detector. A relic can be anything old. It doesn't have to be valuable or super old, just your favorite old find.
Here is mine. I dug this Civil War US belt plate from a Union Camp at a place called Stone Man's Switch in VA. It was my main want when I started CW relic hunting. Took me 6 trips to find it and she is a beauty. All attachments are still on the other side.

Did find a a pocket watch with glass covering the back to see the open works instead of a metal back which covers most of them! When I found it, I said to myself, well this watch doesn't have a back ....Ma forgets easily, so may have found something else very old but can't remember as of now! Also, found a small bullet at a Civil War site which the President of our club wanted to buy from me, but I haven't sold any or not many of my finds....just enjoyed finding and looking at them! This R eagle button stands for Mounted Rifles during the Civil War. I believe they were basically special forces on horses. steve in so az

That is real nice. still looking for vmy first plate. My best find so far is a whitworth bullet actually four from the same field.
 
Well mine is one of two I stumbled on last summer.

Either the WW1 Nark 1, 100lb practice bomb or the Civil War bayonet from an inland lake. (I found the 357 mag last year also but its not a relic)
