Shared about treasure hunting last night............

I was asked by a fellow club member to come to the church he goes to, to share about treasure hunting.
His Sunday school class had a chili cook off, and I was to be the surprise guest speaker.
I shared with them my love for the hobby and how it correlates with my love for Christ.
I went back and for and showed the similarities of detecting, and my walk with Christ.
I would share my equipment that I use to detect, then my equipment that I use in my walk. and so forth...
Then near the end I did a Q & A session, which they had many questions.
It was a good time. By the way say hello to out newest forum member gopher john.
John is the guy in the plaid shirt. OK that is the back of his head!

It's interesting how you tied your love for metal detecting to your love for Jesus Christ. It's also interesting that on my way home, from Sabbath worship service today, that I asked God to grant me the grace, wisdom, and ability to share my love for the Lord with others and in the hobby of metal detecting.
