Sharpshooter first trip on T2 SE DST

I got out with my new Nel Sharpshooter on my T2 for the first time yesterday morning. This coil is great. It's alot like using the little 5" coil, but it's much easier to cover ground with. I was running in DST with sens 99 and 3 tone and disc 0. I dug alot of targets and only 4 were iron and 2 of those were bottle caps. I got a Hutchinson pop top still in the top of an old glass bottle. That was a first for me. I've dug a bunch of the pop tops but never any still in the glass. I got 2 V nickels 1900 and 1910. A few buttons and bullets and a bunch of pulltabs and screw caps. You gotta dig the junk to get the good stuff. You guys were right. This coil is great. I don't see it coming off. I love this detector.

I agree this coil is far better than the 5" and even the larger stock coil (T2) I run tests and found that the sharpshooter matched the stock coil for depth the Sharpsooter is sharper and can find goodies close to Iron. TRY the setinh 2c weeds out most Iron but still finds the good stuff.I plaved a George 3rd half penny Under an Iron nail and still found the coin set the T2 at 75 sens 0 disc and 2c

Great to hear that you are happy with your new coil, was out over the weekend with mine, its a joy to use instead of the stock coil.
