Shoe Buckle ID help

Hey guys need help identifying this colonial shoe buckle I found in New Hampshire at an old colonial home site. It was 11 inches down in the front yard. Any info on possible date or era/origin?

Thanks for any help H.H.

Love the hand inscribed decorations......
Definite 1700's. I'd guess mid to late 1700's, but that's just a random guess.....
