One of the two Meijers in Jackson started that remodeling before we left. Laurie couldn't stand it. I didn't care.

Now, I'm beginning to get really frustrated with Wal-Mart's policies. They've decided to start shutting down ALL the self-serve registers at night, and usually only have 3 - 5 cash registers open at night, period, regardless of the fact that there are usually 200 or more custormers in the store, many of which are just waiting to get checked out. On many occasions, I've actually spent more time waiting to get to a cash register, than it takes for me to enter the store, get the one or two items I need, then get to that LONG line for the cash register. This is really evident on Friday/Saturday nights, or whenever folks get their Social Security money. Lord help you if SS Checks get delivered on a Friday.
