short hunt today.....wheats, indian, and token

got out of work early today and stopped by a place I had permission to hunt, it is a house in town from late 1800's. There was some MAJOR electrical interference and I remembered someone saying the 3khz coil was effected more by electrical interference so I went to my car and changed to my med freq coil (7.5khz) I have not used this coil since last summer...lol

anyhow, it did not help, I tried every channel on noise cancel, nothing helped, kept lowering sensitivity, did not help. I was bummed. I hunted as slow as I could trying to get some sort of signals with my sensitivity so low. I did manage 5 shallow wheats that were in 4" range. Got the token pretty easy too since it was 4" or less. The indian was about 6" and I just about did not dig it. It sounded like trash, but what did I have to lose?

It is the first indian of he year....1882.

Good hunting anyway....your patience and persistance paid off in some nice old finds! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

You do good no matter what coil you use. Good digging :clapping:

with that token you can now try to put together a whole set of them. That's what I'm doing. I've found 2 of them and bought a few off ebay.
Yes I'm addicted to collecting old stuff

As usual, I love the token. I really have a thing for tokens!
