Headed south to east Tenn this past Thursday for the 4th of July holiday weekend. Temps had moderated into low 80's on Friday, but was still just a bit to hot for open field hunting, so I dragged my dad and my son into the pine thicket. It s a strange spot I discovered on a lark 2 years ago....so far it has given up around 75 bullets and a ton of melted lead, but no brass! Believe me , you earn every bullet you find there! Hunted for three hours and dug 5 drops and one melted minie ....not bad...beats being skunked, G2 continues to impress! Thanks for looking! Come on fall hunting season!
