Shorter rod for children

Man I think a 7 yr old could handle what size rod it comes with you may have to move the arm rest up a little bit even possibly having to drill a few holes in the upper arm rest rod, my son started using one when he was 8 and all I did was shorten the lower rod all the way in and moving the armrest all the way in.
