Shotgun with a rich gold mining history!

Goldstrike

Well-known member
I was given, what to me is a unique shotgun recently by my wife's Uncle. He has kept it for many years and has handed it down to me. It belonged to my wife's great great grandfather George Washington Rose who worked the Armagosa gold mine in Death Valley Cal; in the mid to late 1800's. It has remained in the family and I will in turn hand it down to one of my son's in a few more years. I feel very privileged to own it and can only imagine the sights it has seen and if it could talk, I'm sure it could tell a few tales!!!

What is the make and model of that beauty.

Parker Bros; Meriden Connecticut. It has Damascus barrels so I don't plan to fire it and it will be a wall hanger!
