The dealer just got my MXT PRO yesterday.I also got a D2 10inch coil and a 5.3 concentric coil coming for it.I already have a 6X10 coil and a Bigfoot from my DFX.I agonized over which detector to buy,the MXT PRO or the V3i.I chose the MXT PRO.It just seems more suited to my style of hunting.I didn't want to mess with lots of programming and options.I can analyze the target by digging it.Bill

You will be very very happy with your selection. 
I have quickly learned that the MXT-Pro is a very capable machine. I did pick-up the book "The MXT Edge" by Jeff Foster. Great resource book. It has definitely taught me the "ins-and-outs" of the MXT along with several useful tips and other helpful details about the machine that I would have never known about.... JMHO. Looking forward to seeing some of your posts. CCH.
