When changing my batteries last night the detector went silent ,thinking it was a major problem investagated the battery holder the thin black cloth tab had slid up and was blanking the connector, a quick snip and the problem has gone for good :clapping:

With my fat fingers, I really appreciate that little piece of cloth ribbon...I have a heck of time trying to get that bottom battery out without the help of that cloth ribbon to pull on!!! :)
