May explain why I had a 75 that was a terrible detector. I myself destroyed it rather than pass it along as something I did not want.

Not sure it was not a real Fisher..But it certainly didn't operate like other 75's I have owned. Nor was it built the same.The head was always getting loose and had to be tightened up.
The metal rods were not exactly right either.Just felt different..poordepth and a lot of interference when on...plus GB was way off.

Fisher: Always imitated, never replicated.


That sure is a quick way to render them useless.
