After plucking two tic's off me after Saturday's hunt and Hershey mentioning now was about the time for the water moccasins to be making an appearance and since I didn't have his recommended 9mm shot shells, only 9mm hollow points, I decided to forego the woods this morning and sift through the ole demo'ed housing site. I put the 5" coil on the Omega and just inched my way along a small stretch of ground, checking every target for a hint of a high tone. Aside from 4 other wheat cents and the ring, my best 2 recoveries came in the same hole along with a wheat cent and a small piece of iron. (2nd photo) I was getting a bevy of tones and readings and finally thought, dig it. It yielded a 53 Rosie, 54D Washington and a wheatie. The ring hadn't yet made it into the dirt. Its inscribed with, "WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE MATT 10:20." HH jim tn
