Took the Vaquero in the wooded park area with the stock coil on , sens cranked way up , min disc. Heard a faint signal over the leaves and kicked several inches of them away . Now I had a fantastic sound . I was thinking silver dime all the way . Look at this . Half a quarter . Aint that a bird-dog .

Yeah, that is a bummer. At least you got 1/2 and the date of a awfully nice find. HH jim tn

Nicely done...one of those finds that could hold an interesting story. When I saw the photo my first thought was "he got the right half". HH

Interesting find.
I've been wondering what happened to these halves... I've found a couple of pennies, cleanly cut in half like that, and half of one chuck-e-cheese token. Strange stuff.

I got a Merc dime like that. The half I got does not have the date. May be it got hit with a mower. KEN
