Silver 3 cent ?

Based on some charts that have been around a while (sorry, did not dig out any 3c silver to test), the Explorer digital reading for this coin is:

FE = 07
CO = 24

This is in the ballpark of the following (per the same chart):

Indian Head: FE = 07 / CO = 25
Seated Half Dime: FE = 07 / CO = 24
$5 Gold: FE = 07 / CO = 22

So, if you are hunting in Ferrous audio, the silver 3c would sound like the other "07" targets.

I use Smart Screen, FE, on the SE Pro and the one I found this summer sounded like a silver nickel, but higher up, about mid screen, straight up from a nickel. Mine was well worn and a nice one would probably be higher up and further to the right, but not quite up to a IH.

I found one last year that was near some new cents.. Once I got the pennies cleaned out, I heard a nickel range hit in the same hole. It turned out to be a silver three cent piece. This was an old house site where we dug all the foil and nickel signals.
