Silver and a Little Love

SeniorSeeker

Active member
Went out for a couple hours, after my stress test @ Michigan Heart, today. Found a 1953 quarter, 1979 dime, 1965 penny, and a little heart shaped pendent w/the word 'Love' on it (and a lot of trash).
The quarter is my first silver ever! It came out of the ground just as shinny as the day it was dropped.

Way to Go! I am still waiting for my first silver.

John

You did really well with silver at the price they are.

Congrats on the first silver Marty! Great job and nice coin!

Congrats on your first silver!

Thanks Everyone! When I saw this coin, for the first time, I was so overjoyed that I felt like I was floating above ground! It's in remarkable condition and what makes this par- ticular coin even more interesting is that the present owner of the home bought the home in 1953. Originally the property was a fruit farm but, after a few years of growing fruit, they opted to cut the fruit trees down and decided to grow Christmas trees on a large scale. I told her about the Helo/Thompson's Malted Milk shaker top I found but she couldn't remember it. I offered her the heart pendent but she said nobody she knows of lost it, so I'm the lucky owner of it all. I've got approximately 90% of the property to search yet.
